I like the idea of crossing a river - a sort of road version of the steeplechase!! :)briceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06537061506035169437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556096885175764062.post-83711939254252145602009-02-22T18:17:00.000+00:002009-02-22T18:17:00.000+00:00Great time for such as hilly course. I expect you will break that before the year is over.Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07802380462713592586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556096885175764062.post-65064734404961862182009-02-22T16:35:00.000+00:002009-02-22T16:35:00.000+00:00Great effort Brendan. I mean hilly terrain is fine, but when the hill is 25% of your entire race course, then the race becomes more of an obstacle course than a race.

Why not have you cross a river or climb a wall in the middle of the race instead - maybe next year they'll add that!!Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06747591179607121086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556096885175764062.post-11518749863830047222009-02-22T16:33:00.000+00:002009-02-22T16:33:00.000+00:00Great result Brendan. The winning time from Sean McGrath of 26:51 (maybe that's 25:51) is well down on what you'd expect fro a flat 5 miler.

Only for the low grade virus and the haircut the win was there for the taking.Grellanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07132757537248747078noreply@blogger.com
